Cuban essayist and writer Antonio José Ponte has been invited to give a talk at the Cervantes Institute in Paris. The Cuban writer, along with Mexico's Gonzalo Wake, will present the panel 'Narratives cross. Mexico City and Havana ', Tuesday May 3 at 7 pm. In his presentation, two writers analyze the architectural relationships, social and cultural relations between the two capitals. Celorio Gonzalo is a member of the Mexican Academy and professor of Latin American Literature. He has published wide variety of books, among which are essays on literature and architecture. He has won numerous awards including the Prix des Biarritz Two Oceans and IMPAC Award-Conarte-ITESM in Mexico.
Antonio José Ponte is a famous poet, novelist and essayist Cuba. His books include deep meals, An art of making ruins and other stories , seat in the ruins and smuggling shadows. He is currently deputy director of the publication Journal of Cuba .
The appointment is in the Auditorium 7 of the Instituto Cervantes (Rue Quentin Bauchard, 75008, Paris).
